ZP-82: Blair Wire & ZP-85: Woodchuck

ZP-82 and ZP-85 are two 1.4 MW (DC) installations situated in Spencer, MA next to Wire Village School. Collectively, these two projects will generate approximately 3.57 million kWh/year.

ZP-82: Blair Wire

Size (DC): 1.4 MW
Size (AC): 1 MW
kWh/yr: 1,789,000

ZP-85: Woodchuck

Size (DC): 1.4 MW
Size (AC): 1 MW
kWh/yr: 1,777,000

Over the course of a year, these two projects will have offset approximately 2,900 tons of Carbon Dioxide (CO2).

To put that in perspective, 2,900 tons of CO2 is equivalent to the emissions created from:

consuming 299,000 gallons of gasoline,
burning 2.9 million pounds of coal; or,
driving 6.5 million miles in an average passenger vehicle.

Please note that these estimates are approximate and are not being used for emission inventory or formal carbon footprinting exercises. These estimates were calculated using the Greenhouse Gas Equivalencies Calculator provided by the EPA in January, 2018.
