ZP-73: Cohasse

ZP-73 is a 1.2 MW (DC) installation situated in Southbridge, MA behind the Cohasse Country Club. Made up of 3,528 panels, this project will generate approximately 1,583,000 kWh/year.

Over the course of a year, ZP-73 will have offset approximately 1,300 tons of Carbon Dioxide (CO2).

To put that in perspective, 1,300 tons of CO2 is equivalent to the emissions created from:

consuming 133,000 gallons of gasoline,
burning 1.29 million pounds of coal; or,
driving 2.89 million miles in an average passenger vehicle.

Please note that these estimates are approximate and are not being used for emission inventory or formal carbon footprinting exercises. These estimates were calculated using the Greenhouse Gas Equivalencies Calculator provided by the EPA in January, 2018.
