ZP-71 is a 1.2 MW (DC) installation situated in North Brookfield, MA. Made up of 3,492 panels, this project will generate approximately 1,569,000 kWh/year.
Over the course of a year, ZP-71 will have offset approximately 1,290 tons of Carbon Dioxide (CO2).
To put that in perspective, 1,290 tons of CO2 is equivalent to the emissions created from:
consuming 131,400 gallons of gasoline,
burning 1.28 million pounds of coal; or,
driving 2.86 million miles in an average passenger vehicle.
Please note that these estimates are approximate and are not being used for emission inventory or formal carbon footprinting exercises. These estimates were calculated using the Greenhouse Gas Equivalencies Calculator provided by the EPA in January, 2018.
