ZP-20 is one of our largest multi-megawatt installations for 2017. At 4 MW (DC), this installation will collectively generate over 5 million kWh/year.
Over the course of a year, ZP-20 will have offset approximately 4,180 tons of Carbon Dioxide (CO2).
To put that in perspective, 4,180 tons of CO2 is equivalent to the emissions created from:
consuming 427,000 gallons of gasoline,
burning 4.15 million pounds of coal; or,
driving 9.3 million miles in an average passenger vehicle.
Please note that these estimates are approximate and are not being used for emission inventory or formal carbon footprinting exercises. These estimates were calculated using the Greenhouse Gas Equivalencies Calculator provided by the EPA in January, 2018.
