ZP-166: Dighton

ZP-166 is a 2.9 MW (DC) installation situated in Dighton, MA. Made up of 8,316 panels, this project will generate approximately 3,661,416 kWh/year.

Over the course of a year, ZP-166 will have offset approximately 3,000 tons of Carbon Dioxide (CO2).

To put that in perspective, 3,000 tons of CO2 is equivalent to the emissions created from:

consuming 306,600 gallons of gasoline,
burning 2.98 million pounds of coal; or,
driving 6.7 million miles in an average passenger vehicle.

Please note that these estimates are approximate and are not being used for emission inventory or formal carbon footprinting exercises. These estimates were calculated using the Greenhouse Gas Equivalencies Calculator provided by the EPA in January, 2018.
